About this chapter

What this chapter covers

Giving access is only half of identity management. Governance keeps access correct over time. This chapter covers entitlement management, which packages and automates access requests, access reviews, which remove access that is no longer needed, privileged access with Privileged Identity Management, and the logs, workbooks and scores you use to monitor identity activity.

It is worth 20 to 25 percent of the exam. Questions ask which governance feature fits a described problem and how to configure it.

Most governance questions turn on one setting. Learn what each setting does: expiry, approval, reviewers, non response action and eligible versus active.
