About this chapter
What this chapter covers
Develop Containerized Solutions on Azure is 20 to 25% of the AI-200 exam. It has two skill groups: implementing container application hosting, and implementing container-orchestrated solutions.
AI back ends are usually packaged as containers. This chapter covers the full path: build and store images in Azure Container Registry, run them on Azure App Service, Azure Container Apps or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and troubleshoot them when they fail.
How the topics fit together
You build an image, push it to a registry with a clear tag, then deploy it to the hosting service that fits: App Service for simple web apps, Container Apps for serverless microservices and event-driven scaling, AKS for full Kubernetes control.
The exam often asks which hosting option fits a requirement. Simple web app: App Service. Scale to zero on queue length: Container Apps. Full Kubernetes control with manifests: AKS.
