About this chapter
What this chapter covers
FusionAccess: Planning and Deployment is 8% of the Huawei HCIA-Cloud Computing H13-511 exam. It covers how the FusionAccess components are planned and placed on VMs, how networks and high availability are laid out, how the components are installed on FusionCompute, and the first configuration steps that link FusionAccess to FusionCompute, AD and the gateway.
Questions are single-answer, multiple-answer without a stated count, true/false, drag and drop and typed fill-in-the-blank, often "Which of the following statements is true?". This exam has no exhibit figures. In this chapter they often ask for the right order of steps, or which component is placed with which.
It has 3 outline topics, and two pages cover them.
How the topics fit together
Planning decides what goes where, installation builds it on FusionCompute, and initial configuration connects the pieces so desktops can be provisioned.
Nothing in the next chapter works until this one is done. Desktop provisioning needs a working link from ITA to FusionCompute and to the AD domain.
Learn the order. FusionCompute networking and storage come first, then AD, DNS and DHCP, then the FusionAccess management components, and only then the ITA settings that connect them.
How to use these pages
Each topic page has the same shape, so you can skim for what you need.
- What it is: the idea in plain words.
- How it works: the mechanism, with tables and examples.
- What to remember for the exam: the facts to memorize.
- Common mistakes: the classic traps.
- Check yourself: three questions to test your understanding.
Put the steps in order yourself before reading each flow. The exam often lists deployment steps and asks which comes first or which is missing.
