What this chapter covers

Services is about the products a provider sells over its core, and the tools that make them work.

It covers Layer 3 VPNs, Layer 2 VPNs and Carrier Ethernet, and the advanced VPN designs such as EVPN, Inter-AS and carrier supporting carrier. It also covers multicast delivery and the QoS tools that give each class of traffic the right treatment.

The earlier chapters built the transport. This chapter puts customer traffic on top of it.
