What this chapter covers
Cloud Concepts is the opening domain of the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam. It explains what the cloud is good for and how to think about using it.
The chapter follows four ideas, one per page.
The first is the benefits of the AWS Cloud. The second is the principles for designing well in it. The third is how organisations move to it, and the fourth is how the cloud changes the cost of running technology.
These topics are conceptual. You will not configure anything here, but later chapters rely on the vocabulary.
